Carroll to Galatasary agreed?
Being reported in a few places now that fee and personal terms have been agreed.

http://sportwitness.co.uk/galatasaray-close-signing-west-hams-andy-carroll-agreement-made-hammers-player/

Fanatik claim Galatasaray are close to signing Andy Carroll from West Ham United ahead of the next transfer window.

The England international has been linked with the Istanbul club in recent weeks as their search for a No.9 continues. The Turkish club have yet to replace former Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis and it seems Carroll is the player they have decided to sign.

The Turkish newspaper claim Galatasaray have reached an agreement with both West Ham and the player.

It’s reported only a couple of small details are left before the transfer is completed with the Hammers.

We covered reports from Turkey earlier this month that Galatasaray were in talks with Carroll, and that the attacker was close to moving to Cim Bom in the last window. However, the Super Lig club pulled out due to the West Ham player’s ankle injury.

According to Fanatik, with Carroll now seemingly over his injury struggles a transfer to Turkey looks to be on the agenda.

Re: Carroll to Galatasary agreed?
I doubt anyone is stupid enough to sign him

If I were him, I'd retire.

I’ve tried really hard to find even a scintilla of sympathy for a mostly absent player on £80K pw for the last five years but have failed.

Re: Carroll to Galatasary agreed?
I really think all the hate on here is a bit ott...yep he's been injured a hell of a lot, but when he has played he has pretty much always done well and scored many important goals, and as as we know he can terrorise defences.

I would not offer him a new deal simply because he WILL get injured again, but I'm more than happy for him to stay until the summer and think he could be very useful for us in the coming months. Also, Perez is fucking awful.

What are they like for making fun of injury prone people? I don't want to see Carroll crying out to The Daily Turk about his treatment.

Re: Carroll to Galatasary agreed?
Carroll won't leave West Ham until he's squeezed every last penny from the contract we were stupid enough to give him all those years ago.

Re: Carroll to Galatasary agreed?
Just don't see this at all. Galatasaray would be complete imbeciles if they sing him before he has proved he is properly fit and can get back to the player he once was albeit briefly. Carroll himself said he was only 75% fit this week.

Re: Carroll to Galatasary agreed?
It is one story in a press that has more leeway to make things up than they do even here.

But Carroll is being given minutes by a manager that is not an idiot. So until we have enough people ahead of him that our experienced manager no longer feels the need to do that (or probably more likely, he gets injured) why would we rejoice in getting rid of him without getting something back to replace those minutes.

I know he has frustrated and apparently really angered people over the years but lets put our own hurt feeling aside and think about the club, until we can do better.

Hope the club just give him a free transfer

Get him off the books and make him somebody else's problem

If we try to negotiate a fee it will all end badly and he will stay till the summer

Just get rid
